Turn your Gemini Notebook into a voice tutor your students can use tonight

How it works — 3 steps

  1. Copy your notebook's summary. In Gemini Notebook, select your notebook summary or unit notes and copy the text. (Notebook links are private to your Google account, so the text is what travels — Tappy never touches your Google access.)
  2. Paste into Tappy and name the assignment. Sign in with Google at teachtappy.ai, paste the text (plus any PDFs, article links, or YouTube videos), pick which class periods get it, and click Import. You'll immediately see a preview of exactly how the tutor will open with your students.
  3. Share one link per class — copy it, post it to Google Classroom with one button, or project the QR code. Students tap, say their first name, and start talking through the material with Mira, Tappy's voice tutor. Their results appear on your dashboard as they finish.

Can students use my Gemini Notebook directly?

No — notebook links are private to your Google account. That's why Tappy exists: your notebook's content becomes the tutor's source material, without sharing any Google access.

Is Tappy free for teachers?

Yes — free forever: 6 classes × 30 students, unlimited sessions, no credit card. Paid plans exist only for school-wide features (LMS gradebook integration, rostering).

Do students need accounts?

First name only. No email, no password. FERPA-first design: no ads, no data sales, teachers can export or permanently delete everything.

Voice or text?

Both — spoken tutoring with Mira, or text chat for quiet classrooms, both grounded in your materials. Students can also snap a photo of homework for step-by-step help.

What do I see afterward?
